Dr. Samone R. Marion-Coleman
I am focused on the mental and emotional needs of my potential clients. I am driven to assist in the areas of Grief and Loss and Addictions Counseling. I am compelled to help individuals to become aware of how it all started, how it progressed and the steps it takes to move toward change.
Making positive change opens the doors to new horizons. I use an array of various therapies such as music and meditation to assist individuals to become aware of their issues and help them take the necessary steps towards a peaceful and serene place. Pearl McCullough
I have experience through an internship, education, and work, in treating individuals dealing with mental health disorders, substance abuse/dependence, domestic violence, EAP and anger issues. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression. I am passionate about issues related to women's emotional health, interpersonal relationships, family problems and victims of trauma. For over 10 years I have worked extensively with individuals and families dealing with grief and loss.
I like working with individuals, couples, groups, and families, as well as individuals from a wide variety of cultures and ethnic backgrounds. My theoretical orientation is drawn from an Existential/Person-Centered philosophy that emphasizes the value of life, and the importance of self. I will assist you in interpreting and identifying needs which can result in changes. Let me tell you what to expect in counseling. A safe place and an opportunity to talk in confidence about concerns or issues impacting your life, interfering with you achieving your objectives. My approach to counseling is eclectic to integrate an array of therapeutic interventions suited for your needs.
LaRon Evans
LaRon Evans, LLPC, is a Licensed Clinical Therapist. He received his undergraduate B.S. degree in Public Health from Central Michigan University in 2005 and his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix in 2012. LaRon has over 10 years of experience working with at-risk youth and families.
His clinical experience comes from previously serving as Clinical Therapist for Assured Family Services/Juvenile Assessment Center and as Director of Counseling Services for Metro Youth YMCA in Detroit, MI. As a Detroit native, LaRon has dedicated his mission towards helping youth and families reach their full potential. He has a person-centered and holistic clinical approach to counseling. He believes that meeting clients where they are at with positive regard is the first step to the healing process. Aside from his counseling experience, LaRon is also a community leader, mentor, husband, father and travel enthusiast.
